Spirituality vs Religion
Purpose
If you are reading this it’s because you have a spiritual desire. The purpose of this letter is to open up your spiritual eye. Before you read on say to your inner spirit, "I will not let my natural mind get involved with spiritual things." Do not try to reason in your mind the things that are for your spirit. It just causes confusion and the Almighty is about order. So relax your mind and let your spirit take control.
I Am
First let me tell you a little bit about who I am. My name is Leslie C. Hunter Jr. Born in England raised in Germany and now living in New Jersey. In the year of 1997 is when I started seeking the Higher Power. It was after I got into a terrible car crash. (Why is it after a tragedy we seek the immortal.) It is because we realize our own mortality.
Creator
The Creator is Immortal=not subject to death. So after the car crash I started to study religious beliefs. I don't have a scholarship but I have studied long and hard to find the Truth. (You might say to yourself his Truth might not be my truth, but Truth is Truth.) Some of my studies are Hinduism, Judaism, Mormonism, Catholics Muslims, Christianity, Wicca and some other new age. The conclusion that you come up with is everyone believes in a Higher Power, Creator, Lord, God Almighty, Jehovah, Divine, Godhead, Holy Spirit, God, Deity, Supreme Being that is Omnipotent (all-powerful), Omniscient (all-knowing), Omnipresent (being present everywhere at once), originator and ruler of the universe! {What about evolution and atheists?}
Ask Yourself
Ask yourself this question: would I want my head or any of my body parts separated from my body, Obviously not!!! Now ask yourself would your spirit want to be separated from the Holiest Spirit? Obviously not!!! If you agree with what I have said, then you like me do not like religion because you realize it separates. The Creator does not want to be separated from creation. Religion is man made and it stinks! (Yes some morals and values are taught but the root is dead works.) What I have and what humans want is a relationship with the Creator and not a religion!
Spirit, Soul & Body
The Creator has created us all in the same image: Spirit, Soul (mind, will, emotions) and Body. (A triune being) When are Body (flesh) dies are spirit and soul live on. (Where? it’s up to you to decide.) Religion is mans attempt to reach to God. Religion is mans way to try to become righteous (right standing with the Holy God.) Religion will not satisfy your spiritual desire, it will only cover up what you are looking for through works. (How much money you give to the church, how many old ladies you walk across the street etcetera.) The point is you can't work to become righteous, so religion will not work!
Separation
If you haven't realized, which you might have, because you desire spirituality and not religion is that there has been a separation from the Creator and the creation (humans) So now you are noticing humanities attempt to restore the relationship (become righteous - right standing with the Divine.) You may be asking yourself how do you know I am separated from the Almighty: All of us (humanity) have fallen short from the glory of God! No one is perfect, but one, the Deity! You see the positive, you see the negative! You see the good, you see evil!! You see Love, you see hate!!! This is what is called the Godly nature and the sinful nature (sin=is a term used when an archer would miss the mark.) Since humanity has fallen short from the Higher Powers Nature we have all miss the mark! Sin (don't think religious on me or should I say don't get a religious mind set on me) has separated us from God Almighty. Humanity has been stained with this sinful nature (opposite of the Divine Nature=love, peace, freedom, joy, etcetera) (sinful nature=hate, greed, envy, jealousy, rude, arrogant, etcetera.) This sinful nature separated us from the Supreme Being and the Divine Nature! (quick example of the sinful nature in us...do you have to teach a child to lie, steal, scream, be selfish, no you don't because of the stain of the sinful nature.) So how do we restore our relationship? Not with religion! Only with the Key. (What is the key?)
LOVE
The Higher Power, Creator, Lord, God Almighty, Jehovah, Divine, Godhead, Holy Spirit, God, Deity, Supreme Being whatever way you want to say it all boils done to this...LOVE (everyone on this planet needs Love, from the biggest Goth to the hardest thug we all need Love.) This is the Deity and the Divine Nature. LOVE is patient, LOVE is kind, LOVE is not jealous, LOVE does not sing its own praise, LOVE is not arrogant, LOVE is not rude, LOVE does not think about itself, LOVE is not irritable, LOVE takes no account of evil, LOVE is not happy when injustice is done, but it is happy with the TRUTH, LOVE never stops being patient, LOVE never stops believing, LOVE never stops hoping, LOVE never fails because LOVE never ends. The Deity has a divine purpose and path which the Creator has created us for, filled with Love. We were created out of Love, for Love, to receive Love (not human kind of love which is I love you because I need you, but Divine Love called Agape Love, which is I Love you because you need me) The English word Love is like water it doesn't stick (I love ice cream, I love my dog, I love sports, I love my friend, I love my parents.) The word Love in Hebrew has four different meanings: Phelo (brotherly love) Storgie (family love) Eros (intimate love) Agape (everlasting love, God kind of Love.)
Divine Path
If you are reading this with an open spirit (not your mind or a religious spirit) you will soon find out the Divine path which you and only you are created for! No one can walk the path that the Creator has created for you. You are known as a master piece in Jehovah's eyes (STOP THE RELIGIOUS THINKING) You are one of a kind (the way you look, your finger prints, your DNA) their is no one on this planet like you and that is why you are a master piece! (You are the one and only) Only you can fulfill the path that the Higher Power has set before you. We can break it down into 2 paths: 1st path is your path and the 2nd path, is the Divine path. Make a choice right now! Do you want your path (selfish) which will not fill the void, the spiritual desire and the circle will continue OR do you want your Higher calling, the purpose and the path that you were created for, filled with abundant Life??? The chose is up to you: Decide right now...stop reading and take a second...... (not to think about it because your mind will be saying, "no I'm fine just the way I am or I'm not ready yet" But your spirit is saying "Yes I am ready to walk the path created for me" (that is why you are reading this if you haven't realized) You want to know the difference between Spirituality and religion!
Spiritual Minded ONLY
I am very happy; my spirit rejoices that you have decided to walk your Divine path!!! (If you have not decide to walk your created path you don't want to read on because your natural mind will not understand the spiritual things I will be speaking on, so when you decide to accept your Divine path then read on until then may the Almighty One open your spirit and fill you with the LOVE from ABOVE)
Keep Climbing
Weather you feel it or not (don't let your emotions control you) you have been climbing the spiritual ladder and you are almost on to your path. Just with the things that you have read you have been feeding your spirit and soon it will be time to drink. Do you remember when I spoke about the Key! Well, before we get to what the Key is that will restore the relationship and the fellowship to put you on your created path your spirit must first drink.
Time to Drink
Inside of you is a well (this is where you draw from to get refreshed.) The difference between the water you have is it runs out. So the well is then dry (and you can't get refreshed from a well if there is no water in it). Everyone who drinks from the natural well will thirst again. But those who drink the water that I will give them will never become thirsty again. In fact, the water I will give them will become in them a well of water springing up into everlasting life! (Do you want this water?) It’s your decision: to Drink or not to Drink (let go of the natural and walk in the spirit and prepare to drink). The Divine Deity said to me, “It has happened! I am the A and the Z, the beginning and the end. I well give you drink from the fountain filled with the water of life to anyone who is thirsty. It will not cost anything it’s Free!" So as you can see you can't earn it! It’s a free gift given to us but just like with any gift you either receive it or reject it. (So prepare yourself to receive, were almost their)
Need the Key
You are now standing (in the spirit realm) in front of the door to your heart. The door has a knob on your side but not on the other (so whatever is on the other side of the door can’t get in unless you open the door.) How will you open the door with out the key?
Chose
You have made it this far, but I must ask you are you ready to receive the key to open up the door to find out what is on the other side! (Take a second don't think about it and chose) If you have chosen to read this far you are READY, for the key which will set you free and open the door to put you on your Divine Path. (Change occurs only after a decision is made.)
So Many
Start to accept the fact and realize that life is a love story (Follow me.... It’s not hell.) Like I said before, we have been separated from the Deity and our spirit longs to get on the Divine Path to restore the fellowship. That is why you have so many different religions and so many different beliefs. Our spirit wants the relationship that we were created for, but our natural mind gets in the way. Mankind tries to fill the void with anything we can get are hands on (physical, mentally and most important spirituality!) But it only last for a season then the void comes back. When you accept the Key and open the door to your heart you will receive the filling insider your spirit that will fill the void, forever!!! As you receive the Key your spiritual eye will be open and you will see life for what it really is (what society won’t tell you.)
History Lesson
You are now ready for the Key which will open up the door to your spirit. The key will restore your relationship with the Creator. The Key will put you on your Divine path. The Key will unlock your purpose in life and with this Key you will unlock the mystery to and in life! (How do I know this is the right key for me?) Before you receive the Key let me quickly explain how this is the Right Key. Through my studies of history I notice that religious beliefs required sacrifices. (Sacrifice = is the act of killing an animal or person in order to propitiate {make peace with or win back the favor of} the Deity, Supreme Being, God, Divine, Almighty, Holy Spirit, Creator, Lord, whatever you call the Higher Power. So in order to be reconciled with the Higher Power a blood sacrifice would take place. (Don't worry I'm not going to say you have to spill out blood.) So religions in history would sacrifice to when favor with their God or gods. (Why would they want to do that?) They realized that they have been separated from the Deity, so they offer blood sacrifice to restore and gain favor. (Why Blood) Blood is where the life is, with out blood there is no life. People would go as far as covering themselves with the blood of the sacrifice (because they were unclean) to become clean. For with out the shedding of Blood there is no remission. The animal that was sacrificed had to be perfect, not type of infirmities or sickness this animal had to be spotless, nothing wrong with it. When humans make a mistake to one another we restore our relationship by saying sorry. But when humans messed up and went against the Divine nature, a sacrifice had to be made to restore the relationship. (What do we do now? I will get to that.) The Blood sacrifice was to make one righteous (right standing with the Divine). So when someone would fall short, mess up, sin, and miss the mark of the Divine nature a sacrifice is needed to get back into right standing. The Blood would also free them from their guilty conscience. A Blood sacrifice was needed!!! (Sorry for the history lesson but I just wanted to brake it down to bit size pieces that with all this information you will understand and know that the Key I have to offer is the Way the Truth and the Life to get to the Most High, and onto your Divine Path.)
REVIEW
Let’s review what we have learned. We have learned that everyone believes in a Higher Power, Creator, Lord, God Almighty, Jehovah, Divine, Godhead, Holy Spirit, God, Deity, Supreme Being that is Omnipotent (all-powerful), Omniscient (all-knowing), Omnipresent (being present everywhere at once), originator and ruler of the universe! We also learned that we are a Spirit we have a Soul made up of our mind, will, and emotions and we live in a body that will end up turning into dust. We also learned that are spirit yearns to be one with the Holiest Spirit. We learned that the Divine nature is Love and the Deity is LOVE. We learned that humanity has been separated from the Creator (and religion does not work because it also separates.) We also learned that there is a Divine path created for everyone and everyone has a purpose in life (filled with LOVE.) We learned in history Blood sacrifices were done for cleansing, so that one could be back in right standing (righteous) after they messed up or (sinned). This was done to gain the favor of the Deity. We know that religion is mans attempt to reach to God. We also learned that religion separates. We learned about the Key (which I am going to tell you after the review) to open the door to your heart (spirit) and put you on your Divine Path which you were created for because the Creator has a purpose for you as you become righteous. So this is a brief review to prepare you to receive the Key. You feed your spirit and you refreshed your spirit now its time to awake your spirit by opening your heart with the Key.
Warning…The TRUTH
The Creator who made the universe and everything in it is the Lord (ruler) of Heaven and Earth. The Divine doesn't live in shrines made by humans not even churches (sorry for the truth but sometimes it hurts), and the Deity isn’t served by humans as if the Almighty needed anything. The Supreme Being gives everyone life, breath and everything they have. From one man with a woman was made every nation of humanity to live all over the earth. The Creator has created seasons of the year and the boundaries within which to live. (Including time) The Creator has done this so that we would look for the Higher Power, some how reach for the Divine and Find God, In fact the Supreme Being is never far from anyone of us. Certainly, we live and exist because of the Creator. As some poets have said, "We are God's children" so if we are God's children (offspring) we shouldn't think that the Divine being is like an image made from gold, silver or stone, An image that is the product of human imagination and skill. Jehovah (not Jehovah witness) overlooked the times when people didn't know any better. But now the Lord commands everyone everywhere to turn to the Deity and change the way they think and act. A day is set when the Holy Deity is going to judge the world with justice, and will use a man that has been appointed by the Almighty to do this. The Higher Power has given proof to everyone that this will be done by bring that man back to life. (Did this happen or when will this happen?) This took place about 2000 years ago (mark by the calendar.) The man that was brought back to life is known but not known by the world (if you know what I mean) People know his name, but they don't know him! (You even know his name...because he is reveling it to you right now or should I say he has.) Here is a great example....you know my name where I was born and raised but you really don't know who I am. You will only know me if you spend time with me and then we would establish a relationship. (Remember I am not religious and I don't agree with religion and you know why but Truth is Truth.) This man that died and rose from the died is called Jesus (I know when I say that name it stirs things up, that's because their is power in his name) Jesus which means Jehovah is Salvation is the Key to open the door to your heart and fill that spiritual void (not religion.) Don't let the wall come up, you have agreed and stuck with me all the way to this point, that's why you kept reading.
Pure Blood
You see God should his love to us by sending his son Jesus to die for our mess ups, mistakes, sin. (Humanity can’t understand the love that was demonstrated.) Let me ask you a question...would you kill your child for someone that does not deserve it? (My point exactly) Jesus walked this earth perfect did not make any mistakes (he became the spotless sacrifice needed for redemption, I spoke about that earlier) to get humanity in right standing with God (Jesus makes you righteous not religion.) The way God reconciled mankind was by sacrificing his son Jesus so his Blood would cleanse us. Jesus Christ used his own Blood, not the blood of goats and bulls, for the sacrifice. He went into the most Holy Place and offered his Blood for the sacrifice which gives eternal redemption and remission of sin. If the blood of goats and bulls sprinkled on unclean people made their bodies holy and clean. Then the Blood of Jesus, who had no defect, spot, blemish, was without sin does even more. Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself to God and cleansed our conscience form all the sins we have committed. (Now we can serve the Holiest God because we are right standing because of the Blood of Jesus.) Since Jesus Christ offered himself to God, he is able to bring a new promise form God (one of the promises is that the Holy Spirit which raised Jesus form the dead will live in us.) Through his death he paid the price to set mankind free from sin and death (spiritual.) He did this so that those who believe on Jesus will be guaranteed an inheritance that will last forever (eternal life.) In order for a will to take effect, it must be shown that the one who made it has died. So every time you look at the cross it should remind you of his will (if you don't know his will pick up the Bible....yes the Bible was written by men BUT men that were led by the Spirit of God to write down what God wants mankind to know.) After Jesus died on the cross they put him in a tomb and on the third day God rose him from the dead. Jesus, our Lord, was handed over to death because of our failures and was brought back to life so that we could receive God's approval (favor)!!! Now that we have God's approval (favor) by faith (for without faith it is imposable to please God), we have peace with God because of what our Lord Jesus Christ had done. When Jesus came back to life he was given the highest position in heaven. He is far above rulers, authorities, powers, lords, kings, priest and all other names that can be named, not only in this present world but also in the world to come. (Yes Jesus is coming back)!
Who Do You Say He Is
Why do you think when you mention the name of Jesus there is so much controversy? Some say he was a very nice man, others say he was a good teacher, some say he was a prophet, while others claim Jesus to be the Messiah sent from Heaven to die for our sins and to cleanse us with his Blood that the Holy Spirit can live in our spirit. So know it comes down to one last question....Who do you say Jesus is.... (With all the information I have given you its time for you to make a choice.) You can receive the free gift of salvation which will wash away your mistakes (sin) so that you can be righteous (right standing with God) and have eternal life. Or you can rejected Gods free gift Jesus (the Key to life) and be separated from God for eternity (you know the place, I don't have to say it...if you want to learn more about the place click on this link).
Use Your Faith
If you have decide to use your faith to accept the Messiah Jesus Christ as your savior then the only thing left to do is....Romans 10:9,10
v9 "That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." v10 "for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Say this prayer out loud..."Jesus with all that I have read I chose to believe in my heart that you died on the cross for my sins. And on the third day God raised you from the dead with all power given to you. I thank you Jesus that you have a purpose and a path for me. And today I accept your free gift of salvation. I thank you Jesus that I am saved from spiritual death and that I am born again with your spirit living in me. Jesus give me a hunger and desire to know you more because you are the Way the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father but through you. Jesus I receive you as my savior and accept you as my Lord, In Jesus name Amen!!!
