Ephesians 6:10-18

ARMOUR OF GOD

  1. The Belt of Truth

    1. Speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth

                                                              i.      Be sincere and open put aside dishonesty or hypocrisy.

1.      LOVE THE TRUTH.

  1. The Breastplate of Righteousness (Righteousness means being right with God)

    1. Protects your HEART from the attacks of Satan.

                                                              i.      Love what is right hate what is wrong.

1.      THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BOLD AS A LION.

  1. Feet fitted with the Gospel of Peace

    1. Your feet make you mobile to go wherever God sends you.

                                                              i.      YOU MUST be available to God any time, place to tell the Gospel.

1.      HE WHO WINS SOULS IS WISE.

  1. The Shield of Faith

    1. Extinguishes all the flaming arrows of wicked.

                                                              i.      Without Faith you cannot please God.

1.      FAITH, THINGS HOPED FOR BUT NOT SEEN.

  1. The Helmet of Salvation

    1. The hope of  Salvation that guards the mind.

                                                              i.      Christian’s hope is ultimately the Second Coming of Christ.

1.      BE SOBER AT ALL TIMES.

  1. The Sword of the Spirit

    1. The Word of God is, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.

                                                              i.      The Word a Sword when you speak it through your mouth in faith.

1.      QUOTE SCRIPTURES: IT IS WRITTEN….

  1. The Power of Prayer

    1.  Line of communication we have with the Headquarters (Heaven).

                                                              i.      By this you can reach across oceans and continents and strike evil.

1.      PRAYER IS OUR LIFE LINE TO GOD!!!
